Parents of Girls! There is a great new book hot off the press by psychologist Lisa Damour, titled "Untangled: Guiding Teenage Girls Through the Seven Transitions Into Adulthood". Here's her piece on the dreaded eye-roll.
"Why Teenage Girls Roll Their Eyes" was a great read, and the practical angle stood out right away. The motion smoothness test angle was especially helpful for what I'm working on. It also connects nicely with Use a moving visual pattern to confirm smoother motion. I will revisit this post again.
