I have been doing a lot of parent and teen ed around substance use and teen party culture over the last few months and am glad to see more and more news coverage about fentanyl, which is a synthetic opioid that is 100 times more potent than morphine, and which has found its way into the black market drug supply chain. Fentanyl is now the #1 cause of death in 18-45-year-olds, and fentanyl deaths in teens tripled over the past 2 years. PLEASE read this article and educate yourselves, your friends, your families about fake pills, social media dealers and the tragic deaths that are touching our communities.
